Hello, my name is Conor O'Brien, I am a seminarian in Maynooth at the moment.I am 34 years of age.One person who I admired greatly when growing up was John Paul 11, who will be canonised shortly in Rome.He inspired my vocation, my parents said that he visited Ireland in 1979, the year I was born and he said the famous words "Young people of Ireland I love you".

My name is Ricky O'Connor. I am 25 years old, the eldest of 3 boys, and a convert to the Catholic faith. I was born in England and moved to Ireland when I was 12 years old.

I was not raised with any religious upbringing neither did I have any particular interest in the subject of religion. Throughout high school I found myself 'mainly due to indifference' in the atheist camp. I remember when I was about 15 or 16 reading Richard Dawkins' book the God delusion and thinking “right that's it there is no God!”

My name is Barry Larkin. I grew up in the town of Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.
On leaving school in the early 1980’s I did not know then that I would live and work for almost the next thirty years outside of Co. Wexford, mostly in Ireland, with a short spell in Malawi, Central Africa.

The sense of being in some way drawn toward priesthood has always been there and for many years I did all I could to abandon and ignore the idea with all my might!
